  About me

  My name is Sara Li Vestberg and I was born in 1988. I work with horses full-time and am also the mother of the world's most beautiful son, Viggo.

  I started riding when I was 5 years old, since then there have only been more and more horses. I rode at a riding school for a very long time, where I also had the opportunity to compete with the riding school's ponies, which my family and I were very grateful for. Competed up to Intermediate on a B pony that I almost got to have as my own, when I had outgrown him I competed with a few different ponies, both jumping and dressage.

  When I turned 16 I got my first horse, we had a bit of bad luck with her so we covered her! The following year we bought another horse that I rode up to 140, Campanj e:Campari M ue: Labrador, he was 5 years old when we bought him and was competed up to 110.

  In 2006, when I was in my last year of high school, I also had the opportunity to ride and compete with one of my trainer's (Ann-Sofie Oscarsson) horses, High Value! A stallion who was 5 years after Corland - Pomme Royal!

  In 2007 I graduated, and then applied for the young horse training at Strömsholm. I got in and started there already in July of that year. I didn't have the opportunity to take two horses with me, so High Value (Hajen) was sold.

  Education and background

  In 2007-2008 I was at Strömsholm, that year was so eventful and I learned a lot! I rode at least 6 horses a day and we trained as an instructor at least 2 times a day, rode young horses, had a lot of theory and the best of all was that I got to compete 3-4 horses and of course we had a lot of stable work.

  In 2008 I started working for Ann-Sofie Oscarsson, an elite rider and B trainer in show jumping. It was the same year that she moved down to Skåne, so I lived there for a year, I worked for her as a rider and groom and I took care of 15 horses. Just before I moved, I also sold Campanj to a Norwegian youth rider. During my time with Ann Sofie, I learned to take on a lot of responsibility and I grew enormously as a person. I also got to ride and compete a lot there and during this year I also trained as a C trainer in show jumping.

  In 2009 I decided to move back home to Sörmland, Flen. I then started working on a farm outside Flen called Hjelmskyl. With me home from Skåne, the horse Cleo Reviere came with me, a horse that had had a bit of bad luck in her life with both injuries and general unhappiness. I started riding her and the goal was to sell her, but after a year, we decided to buy her ourselves. And I don't regret it once, I have had many successes with her, including riding in Globen and Falsterbo, and many wins and placements up to 130, and also riding faultlessly in 140.

  Current activities

  Since 2016, I have been running a business on their farm with my parents. I focus primarily on young horses, from training to further education to competition. Read more about the farm on my website .
